Jako następną do odnowienia w okolicach kozielskiego rynku urząd miasta wytypował ul. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie. Zakres inwestycji został skonsultowany z mieszkańcami. Zainteresowani zdecydowali, że obecny układ jezdni, chodnika i miejsc parkingowych ma zostać zachowany.
Przygotowaną koncepcję zadania zaprezentowała Kamila Bieńkowska, kierownik wydziału inwestycji i remontów UM. Dyskutowano też o urządzeniu parkingu pod tamtejsza szkołą muzyczną, ustawieniu dodatkowej lampy i usprawnieniu sieci kanalizacji deszczowej.
